Tucked away on a little street in New York’s Upper West Side, Levain Bakery serves up a limited but scrumptious variety of baked goods. They bake bread, pastries and even make sandwiches, but their renown originated from their mountainous cookies. The New York Times has hailed the cookies as “the largest, most divine chocolate chip cookies in Manhattan.”

Levain Bakery has some of the best (and biggest) cookies in New York City. As a soft cookie fan they make me very happy indeed! It’s a small storefront with a short menu. Each of the four cookie varities are huge (1/2 lb!) They are also soft and warm. So good! If you love soft cookies it is definitely worth the trip to Levain Bakery.
